Appointments:
We recommend booking appointments in advance to ensure that we can give you the appropriate amount of time for your treatment. Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to fill out any required paperwork and to allow sufficient time for a thorough consultation.If you must cancel or postpone your appointment, please inform us as soon as possible (at least 24 hours in advance) to permit us to accommodate another patient who may require care.
Consultation and Treatment Planning:
At your initial appointment, we are going to begin by having a full consultation. During this time, we will evaluate your current state of oral health, discuss any concerns you have regarding your teeth or gums and explain all of the various treatment alternatives that you could choose from in order to help determine what is best for your dental care needs. If you have any questions or would like to know anything further regarding your treatment options, please don’t hesitate to ask us.
We will provide you with a customized treatment plan (which outlines all of the treatments that you will require) along with an estimated cost breakdown of each treatment option prior to beginning your actual dental treatment.
Medical History:
It is very important that you provide us with all relevant medical information about yourself in order to help ensure your safe treatment. Inform us of any medical conditions you may be experiencing, if you are allergic to any medication or food, what medications you take regularly including vitamins and whether or not you are pregnant as well as any recent medical issues or health changes. We keep this information updated so we can provide you with the safest and best possible dental care.
Informed Consent:
We will explain to you how the treatment will benefit you and the risks involved prior to performing any dental treatments. You will also know what results we expect from each treatment and which other treatments may work just as well. Prior to any dental treatments, you will sign a consent form indicating that you understand all aspects of the dental treatment planned for you and are willing to receive it.
Fees and Payments:
Treatment charges depend on both the type of procedures you undergo and the specifics of your treatment plan. In most cases we can let you know about all anticipated costs prior to starting treatment. The balance for your treatment is typically payable according to the payment schedule agreed upon when making an appointment.
Infection Control and Safety:
Your well being and safety are always our primary concern. We adhere to a very high standard of sterilization and infection control and maintain a clean and sanitary clinical area as would be expected by the general public and also adhered to as a minimum by all healthcare professionals.

Emergency Dental Care:
If you experience excessive bleeding, are experiencing extreme toothache pain, have an infection such as an abscess that cannot be managed at home or if you feel you need immediate medical attention due to an injury or other oral health issue occurring before or during treatment, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. If we are unable to provide immediate assistance, we would recommend that you go to your local hospital or emergency room.
